The 99th Maui County Fair Returns This October
Save the Date
One of Maui's most cherished traditions is officially back on the calendar. Mayor Richard Bissen has announced that the 99th Maui County Fair will return to the War Memorial Special Events Complex in Wailuku from October 1–4, 2026.
After a successful revival last year that saw over 115,000 attendees, the fair is solidifying its place as the heart of our community's fall season.
“It's a place where families reconnect, local traditions are shared, and our keiki get to experience simple joys they'll carry with them for years to come,” said Mayor Bissen.
A Tradition Reborn
For many years, the fair was on a hiatus, but thanks to County funding and the leadership of Fair Director Daryl Fujiwara, it has returned stronger than ever. This year, the County has proposed $1.5 million in support to ensure the event remains a world-class celebration of island culture, creativity, and community.
Call for Vendors: Are You Ready?
The fair is more than just rides and games—it’s a showcase for Maui’s nonprofit organizations and local businesses. If you want to be part of the magic, the time to act is now.
Application Deadlines:
- May 15, 2026: Final deadline for all food vendors and exhibitors.
- May 30, 2026: Notification for food vendors.
- June 1, 2026: Notification for products and services exhibitors.
- June 15, 2026: Final payment deadline.
Who Should Apply?
- Nonprofits: Food vendor booths are a legendary way for local organizations to raise funds while serving up fair favorites.
- Local Businesses: The Products & Services Exhibit gives Maui-based companies a chance to reach over 100,000 residents and visitors. Preference is given to Maui-made products!

Why We Love the Fair
The Maui County Fair represents the best of our island—from the Joy Zone and livestock exhibits to the local food court and community entertainment. As we approach the historic 100th anniversary next year, this 99th fair is set to be a spectacular lead-up to that milestone.
Whether you're looking forward to the smell of flying saucers in the air or the thrill of the ferris wheel overlooking Wailuku, October can't come soon enough.
