Coronavirus Update for Maui

Our Mayor, Michael Victorino has issued a mandatory order to all Maui residents to stay at home and work from home. The new rules will take effect tomorrow morning at 12:01am. This order is an addition to the Public Health Emergency Rules that were issued by the Mayor's office last week. The new rules will be in place until April, 30th. with the goal being to stop the spread of Coronavirus on our island and protect as many people as possible.

Rest assured the Smith Team will still be hard at work providing our clients with the best possible advice and service throughout this turbulent season. We can leverage the internet to accomplish more tasks and provide a level of service that was impossible even a few short years ago. If you have questions about the Maui real estate market, just hit reply on this email.

Emergency Resources
There are a huge number of people in need as we head further into this pandemic, so Maui county has issued a list of emergency resources for those who are seeking aid. Please see this blog post.

New Cases
While the entire state saw a rise in new Coronavirus cases, which now total 90, Maui actually saw a decrease in confirmed cases. As of right now Maui only has 9 active cases.

What's Closed?
