Market Update

Puunene Shopping Center, which is the shopping center where Target is located is filling up.  Petco opened it's new location in the shopping center yesterday featuring an adoptable cat lounge and a larger area where dog training classes will be held. 

Petco moved from Maui Marketplace which has seen an exodus in recent years ever since anchor stores Borders and Sports Authority closed down.  Verizon moved from Maui Marketplace to Puunene Shopping Center earlier this year as well and Lowes left Maui Marketplace to their new location across the street from the new Puunene Shopping Center.  

Maui's first ever Planet Fitness, Massage Envy and Ulta Beauty will be opening in the shopping center next year.  Other business that will be opening in the shopping center early next year include Fork and Salad, Dominos and Maui Tacos.  There are still 5 spaces to be filled in this exciting new trade area.
