Market Update

April 2020, as expected, showed a dramatic shift from the numbers we were seeing both for new listings as well as closed sales at this same time in 2019. The graph below shows new sales being down substantially in April, with a slight improvement heading into May. The real estate market on Maui has held up surprisingly well throughout this pandemic, but even so, the number of closed sales is expected to remain down for both the 2nd and 3rd quarters of this year.
