Market Update

Three Maui Communities ranked into the Top 10 Easiest locations in Hawaii to sell a home.  The rankings were based on the number of days a home was available on the market before it was sold.  From Listing date until closing date, including the escrow period. 

Wailuku was ranked #6 with an average of 98 days on market.  Followed by Makawao in #7 with 105 days on the market and Kula in ninth place with 277 days on market.  The average number of days on the market for Maui is 125 days, slightly below the National average at 156 days.

Analyzing days on the market in each location shows housing market fluidity.  Ultimately the more fluid a market is, the quicker a home sells, is a sign of a healthy housing market.
