Market Update

It is still too early to tell if Hawaii and Maui, in particular, will suffer severe aftereffects as a result of the recent devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

It is clear that
there will be less Japanese visitors to Hawaii during the next 12 months.  How severe the downturn will be remains to be seen.

We have also noticed in the last two weeks that some people from the mainland have cancelled their reservations for this summer.  They cited concerns over possible radiation fallout, and damage from the tsunami.

Maui is as pristine as ever!  The minimal damage has been cleaned up, and as far as radiation concerns, we feel those have been way overblown.

Ask yourself.  Where do you think prices will be five years from now?  We believe that people who buy now or anytime in the next 12 months, will be very happy they did.
