Market Update

Predictions for home sales in 2017 are in from The National Association of Realtors, The Mortgage Bankers Association, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and they are hot.

The bullish forecasts predict over 6 million existing home sales for 2017, compared to a predicted 5.8 million for 2016.  This increase is attributed to the Millennials (also known as Generation Y) who have delayed home buying compared to older generations are now emerging in the market.

New home construction is also predicted to pick up to 1.5 million homes per year.
