Market Update
This week we would like to feature another successful eco tour company, the Haleakala Bike Company. The unique thing about the Haleakala Bike Company is the freedom and independence you will feel. This is not your typical tour, they just bring you up to the mountain and drop you off with your bike and a map. Great for the adventurous spirit!
Maui is full of great biking trails and adventures, from the popular downhill descent of Haleakala to a hard core ride along the windy Hana Highway. Biking is a great way to exercise and enjoy the islands scenery for visitors and residents alike.
We are also excited to see all the work that is being done by the Maui Mountain Bike Coalition. They create and preserve mountain bike trails throughout the island, notably trails in the Makawao Forest Reserve and Poli Poli Forest Reserve. Currently they are working to open a mountain bike course with different trails for varying skill levels.
