If you are in the midst of doing a 1031 Exchange this has likely been a difficult and challenging time to complete the process. There is some good news, however, because the IRS just released Notice 2020-23 which will extend 1031 Exchange deadlines. The notice will extend any deadlines that occur within the date range of April 1st and July 14th to July 15th. 

Real estate professionals are actively working with the IRS to further understand the new rules, as well as to request additional time be added to the notice. If you have any questions about your 1031 Exchange you can simply reply to this email. Our team will endeavor to provide clarity and address any concerns you may have.
