 Market Update

There are very legitimate concerns about the state of the housing market going forward over the next several months.  Read more.
Many economists and market forecasters are predicting a rather sluggish market due to the hangover caused by the influx of Buyers who rushed in to take advantage of the Home Buyer Tax credit.
Also, there are concerns about the large number of properties in foreclosure that will need to be sold.
Honestly, being in a resort market where many of our sales are from Mainland or Foreign  buyers, we didn't see very many people taking advantage of the tax credit.
This is not to say that we are totally immune to marketing forces affecting the rest of the Country; however, we do expect our recovery to remain intact on Maui. 
Hopefully, that is not wishful thinking.  What do you think?  We welcome and respect your opinions.
