Following up on last week’s Newsletter regarding the Coldwell Banker Island Properties mobile app, here are some other apps you might find useful most of which are free.
Productivity Apps
- Great Schools – Get school reports in your locale.
- Magic Plan – Generate floor plans using your phone’s camera
- MyScript Memo – Create and store handwritten notes. App will convert to text.
Digital Signatures
- DocuSign – Requires a DocuSign Account
- ToughSign – Sign docs on a mobile device
- DocuSign Ink – Sign docs on a mobile device
Marketing
- Keynote – Create and display presentations (Cost $9.99)
- Ink Cards – Create custom greeting cards (Cost $1.99 to deliver)
Communication
- Dragon Dictation – Convert speech to text and then insert into an email, text message, or note.
- Face Time – Place video calls between iPhone/iPad. Need Wi-Fi connection at both ends.
- Skype – Place free voice or video calls over the internet. Can use Wi-Fi or 3G.
Tools
- Swiss Army Knife – Lots of interesting uses. See if a picture is level, measure your heart rate, and more. (Cost 99 cents)
- iHandy Level – Use a bubble level on your phone.
Storage
- Dropbox – On line file storage and retrieval. (2 GB free)
- Evernote – Enhance research by storing web pages, photos, text and other media to be read later.

- Facebook

- Flipboard – View all of your social media programs in a magazine format.
QR Codes
- Scan – Good basic QR code scanner
- Red Laser – Reliable QR code scanner. Also scans bar codes.

- Complete Foreclosure – Search for foreclosed properties
Home Staging
- Houzz – Interior decorator ideas.
- Atelier Pfister – Place virtual furniture in photos.

- Paint Tester – View your house in different coats of paint.
- Home Decorator – Repaint your home.
