Market Update

2018 is just around the corner!  Here are a few fun New Year's Eve events taking place on Maui this year.  

New Year's Eve with the Stars - Held at the Wailea Beach Resort Marriott this event will feature entertainment from stars such as Steen Tyler, Alice Cooper, Weird Al, Willie K and many more.  There will also be midnight fireworks and a rooftop viewing deck.  The star-studded evening begins at 7:30 and tickets are $675 /person.  This event is a fundraiser for the Maui food bank and the Maui Arts and Cultural Center.  

New Year's Eve Celebration Dinner - Held at The Kaanapali Beach Hotel, enjoy an extravagant all you can eat New Year's Eve feast including a glass of champagne and party favors.  Tickets are $75 for adults and reservations are required.

Midnight Massive - Maui UBF and Audacious events and media have teamed up to bring headliner DJ, Ill Gates to the island.  The event will be held at the old savers building on Dairy Road and feature 2 stages, balloon drop, face painting and confetti.  Tickets are $50 at the door.

P.S. - Thanks to a team of responders from NOAA's office of Marine Sanctuaries a Humpback whale was freed from an entanglement of approximately 400 feet of heavy gauge fishing line yesterday.  The tangled whale was spotted by a whale watching boat near Maui's shores.
