Market Update

Investing in a home is a huge decision, we all know the age old adage "buy low and sell high." Simple enough, the trick is knowing when to buy and when to sell.  Don't try to time the market, it's impossible to predict the future.  Mortgage rates follow the U.S. treasury so lock in with a lender to get yourself peace of mind, this will give you a stronger negotiating position with the seller. 

Buy within your means, you don't want to buy a home that you can't reasonably afford and end up losing it.  You should pay no more than a quarter to a third of your monthly income towards your home investment.

Buy long term so you build more equity in your home.  By not moving around every few years you will save in moving and closing costs.  Keep your home in top condition so that when it is time to sell you will get the most return on your investment.
