Market Update


As we have reported to you in recent Newsletters, there has been a slowdown in the Maui real estate market this year.  There are more listings and fewer sales especially during the last few months.

So what is the cause for such optimism to say that now is the ideal time to buy? There are two main reasons.

 
  • 1. Home-Price Slowdown - Prices were going up at unsustainable rates last year and lot of Buyers became wary and stepped back.  During recent months, we've seen an actual decline in prices.
  • 2. End of Seller's Market - The balance has now shifted in favor of buyers.
The convergence of these two factors is bringing value conscious buyers back to the market.  We are experiencing this personally as we have been much busier lately than we've been for many months.

Take advantage of this window of opportunity to buy at this ideal time.  I know that I am.
