Remember the saying, "Lucky we live Hawaii."  A study from the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index shows that Hawaii is the home to America's happiest people.

The well-being index is based upon 5 essential elements of well-being including your sense of purpose, social relationships, financial, community, and physical health.  Hawaii's well-being index score is 64.8 followed by Alaska with a score of 64.1.

Hawaii, Colorado, and Montana are the only states in the 10 every year since 2012.  West Virginia has the lowest well-being for the 7th straight year.

P.S. - The Super Bowl of surfing, Quiksilver Eddie Aikau Big Wave Invitational will be happening tomorrow at Oahu's Waimea Bay.  This event is only held when waves are 30 to 40 feet and is considered the world's most prestigious surf event.  The last contest was held 6 years ago.
