Last week we reviewed the number of properties sold on Maui for each of the past four years. This week we'll look at the median price history of single family homes sold on Maui since 1998.
1998: $254,000, 693 units sold
1999: $250,000, 1004 units sold
2000: $275,000, 1009 units sold
2001: $298,250, 1030 units sold
2002- $375,000, 1026 units sold
2003- $440,000, 1428 units sold
2004- $560,000, 1261 units sold
2005- $676,500, 1358 units sold
2006- $690,000, 1078 units sold
2007- $630,568, 1140 units sold
2008- $576,340, 908 units sold
2009- $499,000, 689 units sold
2010- $460,000, 812 units sold
2011- $450,000, 200 units (in 1st quarter)
