Taking a closer look at August market statistics by district we see that total sales volume and number of sales has increased in all areas of the island except Upcountry. 

South Maui, which includes Kihei, Wailea and Makena showed the highest sales volume at $751,952,222. Number of closed sales increased by 39% compared to August 2017.

P.S. - The Old Maui Prince hotel is slowly coming down, demolition is scheduled to be complete by December.  The demolition massively improves the views from the new 10 lot subdivision project Kalehua O Makena.
