Market Update

During the month of November, we continued to see the inventory of both homes and condos on Maui fall below the numbers recorded from this same time period last year.  At the end of the month, there were 442 single-family homes, and 500 condos active on the MLS. At the end of November 2018, we saw 520 single-family homes and 549 condos active on the MLS.

The three main areas for single-family home purchases in November were Wailuku, where 17 homes sold for a median sales price of $699,000, in Haiku where 11 homes sold for a median sales price of $775,000 and in Kihei where 10 homes sold for a median sales price of $922,500.

The three hotspots for condo sales in November were in Kihei where 56 units sold for a median sales price of $455,000, in Kaanapali where 26 units sold for a median sales price of $1,022,500 and in Napili where 21 units sold for a median sales price of $399,000.
