Market Update

The much anticipated West Maui Hospital and Medical Center announced they will be breaking ground on August 15, 2016.  The ceremony is open to the public and will begin at 10:30am on the site of the future hospital which will be located off of Kaka'alaneo drive, mauka of Honoapi'ilani highway. 

The public need for a hospital in West Maui has been expressed for years as it can sometimes take up to an hour to get from the West side to the hospital in Kahului.  The hospital's goal is to open by late 2018.  

The facility will include a 25 bed critical access facility along with a 24 hour emergency room.  There will also be a 40 bed nursing facility, 40 unit assisted living wing, drug and rehabilitation facility and office buildings.
