Market Update

Freddie Mac posted a $2.9 billion profit in the 3rd quarter.  This is the 2nd consecutive quarter that Freddie hasn't required any additional bailout money from the U.S. government.  This shows the continued improvement in the housing market.  Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were given $187 billion in aid the last few years and have only returned $47 billion in dividends.
