Customer Listing Synopsis

Market Update

A brief analysis of Maui's current home inventory shows that there are 155 active homes over $2 million or "luxury homes" on the market.  In the past year, 54 luxury homes have been sold determining that we have approximately a 3 years inventory of homes for sale.  This 3 year inventory shows sluggish movement in the luxury market. 

The mid-range market or houses priced between $500K and $1M show a 7 month inventory with 242 active homes for sale and 430 homes sold in the past year.  A 7 month inventory shows the mid range marlet remains quite strong.

A 7 month inventory is a good balance between the number of buyers and sellers. Whereas markets with small inventories such as San Fransisco are heavily weighted towards Sellers.
