| Aloha , Market UpdateAre you planning to vacation on Maui this summer?  Besides the obvious things to do, which include sunning on the beach or poolside, golfing, snorkeling, fine dining, and scuba diving, here are some other things that we think you might enjoy.
Sunrise at Haleakala – Standing near the summit overlooking the Haleakala Crater watching the sunrise is a unique experience that is definitely worth the effort.  If you are driving yourself, plan to get to the top at least ½ hour before the calculated time of sunrise to take full advantage of the beautiful colors.  Check out images.

Maui Arts & Cultural Center – Take in a show at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center in Kahului.  Here is a link to the summer calendar.

Iao Valley State Park – Aside from its natural tropical beautiful, sacred Iao Valley has great historical significance. In 1790 King Kamehameha I clashed with Maui's army in his quest to unite the islands.   Read more.

There are many other ideas for places to see and things to do from Botanical Gardens to miniature golf and much more depending on what your interests might be.  Let us know what types of activities you enjoy, and we’ll be happy to share our experience of having lived on Maui since 1981.

Of course, if you are interested in buying property on Maui, we would love to help you find your piece of paradise.

Whatever you decide, we want to wish you fun and safe summer holidays.
