The stock market requires knowledge and commitment, but the barrier of entry is low, and you can get started even with a small amount of capital. Another advantage of stocks is that they are extremely liquid and can be easily bought and sold as you see changes in the market. The disadvantage of stocks is that they can be highly volatile depending on which industries you are investing in and how often you or others are moving their money around.
