Market Update

Buying your first home is a big decision and where that home is located is a huge factor.  The Huffington Post did a study and ranked Hawaii as #6 on their list of where first time home buyers should live.  

Hawaii's top 10 ranking was determined considering a 52.8% increase in first time home buyers in the last 10 years and a lower foreclosure rate at .03%.  West Virginia ranked #1 best state for first time home buyers. 

There is a National increase in first time home buyers.  As the economy improves people who put off home buying during the recession are now finally diving into home ownership.  First time home buyers comprise 32% of all buyers, the highest percentage since September 2012.
