Market Update
To figure out where to send your child to school on Maui, there are a variety of educational options, including charter schools, private preschools, elementary, intermediate, and high schools.
Maui Family Magazine provides an excellent Maui School Guide 2013 for the different private preschools, private charter schools, private elementary, and high schools. It provides the teacher/student ratio, tuition fees (subject to change), and additional information of each school. For more information visit.
Most of the preschools on Maui are private, but there is a free Tutu and Me Traveling Preschool in the Upcountry, Kahului, Kihei, and Lahaina areas for kids ages birth to 5 years old. Some of my friends enjoyed taking their little ones there to help them learn. For more information visit.

As you'll see there are many different options for education for your child here on Maui. I would recommend visiting the different schools to see which environment you like the best.
