Market Update

According to Barclays' 2013 housing outlook report, falling inventories and an increase in demand bode well for the market's recovery next year.  Increasing prices should boost consumer confidence and spending in 2013, and in turn reduce unemployment.

We are certainly feeling the effects of falling inventory here on Maui.  Recently, we made offers for a family with 2 small children, who are qualified to purchase a home up to $450,000.  In each case, we ended up in a multiple offer situation and were, unfortunately, outbid.

If you are thinking of selling, please let us know as we might have a buyer for you.

P.S.  -  Life is so precious.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families from the Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting.  We all offer our condolences to the family of our long-serving Hawaii Senator and war hero, Daniel Inouye who died yesterday at the age of 88.
