Market Update

Coming up on the holiday season, there are a number of different malls and shopping centers to buy your gifts.  Visit for a list of all shopping centers/malls on Maui.
 
My favorite place to go shopping in the South Maui area is The Shops at Wailea.  This is an upscale mall with great restaurants (Tommy Bahama's, Longhi's, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, and etc.) next to the Grand Wailea Resort, Wailea Beach Villas, and Wailea Marriott.  You will find luxury boutiques like Louis Vutton and Tiffany & Co. and less expensive stores like Honolua Surf Company and the Gap.  My office, Coldwell Banker Island Properties is located on the ground level entrance across from The Coffee Bean.  Feel free to stop by and say hello.  The property address is 3750 Wailea Drive and you can Visit to see a list of all of the retail and dining.
 
In the Central Maui area, you could go to the Queen Kaahumanu Center which is Maui's largest mall with 75 stores, a movie theater, and food court.  This is the shopping center that I mentioned in the last newsletter that has a farmer's market in the middle of the mall 3 days a week.  My favorite store is Macy's and there are 2 Macy's stores, one for women and the other for men and kids.  The property address is 275 W. Kaahumanu Avenue, Kahului.  You can visit their website at www.queenkaahumanucenter.com.  
 
In the West Maui area, you could visit The Whaler's Village that is located in the Kaanapali resort area on 2435 Ka'anapali Parkway.  There are more than 50 restaurants and shops with upscale retail stores like Couch and Louis Vutton and less expensive stores like Volcom and Quiksilver.  My favorite store to shop at there is the Cinnamon Girl that has one of a kind women's dresses and clothing.  I love to eat at both Kimo's Restaurant and Leilani's on the Beach which are right on Ka'anapali Beach.  You can visit their website at www.whalersvillage.com.

P.S. - The sales office is now open for the new development in Kahului, The Parkways at Maui Lani.  This will be a new single family home, golf course community with living areas that range from 1,386 sq. ft. to 2,404 sq. ft.  The average size lots range from 5,000 sq. ft. to 10,000 sq. ft.   The prices will start from $480,000 on up.  This is a great deal considering the demand of inventory in this price range.  This community is conveniently located close to the Queen Kaahumanu Center, Maui Memorial Medical Center, Kaiser Center, and the Dunes at Maui Lani Golf Course.  Let us know if you are interested.
