Market Update

Tourists are trickling back into Hawaii thanks to a combination of affordable flights and pre-travel testing. Between October 15th, when the pre-travel testing program was launched and November 8th, over 200,000 people flew to Hawaii from all over the world. One of the worst things that could happen would be to fly all the way here, only to realize your COVID-19 test is invalid or you are missing some crucial piece of documentation. Below are some tips and links to help you prepare for your next trip to Hawaii.

  • Set up your online travel account by visiting this link.
  • Find all the relevant information you will need to provide and keep it easy to access while traveling.
  • Use current technology and apps to your advantage by uploading high quality PDF’s of your test results. Follow this link for more information.
  • Make sure to review your options and have your COVID-19 test done with a trusted testing partner. For more information you can follow this link.

It should be noted that Hawaii’s pre-travel testing program is now open to all travelers, both international and from the mainland. When the program first launched the only eligible travelers were from the mainland, but now all countries, including Japan can take part in the program and forgo the 14-day mandatory quarantine.
