Market Update

Many people are taking advantage of the record low interest rates by either purchasing a property or refinancing their existing loan. 

There is a great mortgage refinance calculator from television host and America's most recognized financial expert, Suzie Orman that will show you if refinancing your existing loan is worth it. 

There are various factors to consider when refinancing your property including your current interest rate, new interest rate, closing costs, and how long you plan to stay in your home.

This calculator will show you how long it will take to break even on a mortgage refinance and if it is worth it to you considering how long you want to keep your property. 

The biggest tip from Suzie Orman is that you DO NOT refinance your loan for a longer term than that of your current mortgage.  She says that it is smarter to refinance for the same amount of time or less.
