| As you can see from the Market Watch data below, there have been 2944 sales in the last 12 months. This compares with the peak that we reached in mid-January of 3825 sales, so you can see we are down about 25% in terms of sales. This is actually getting us back to a more normal sales pace as 2006 was somewhat of an aberration. September is typically a rather slow time in the market as summer winds down and many people are focused on either returning to work after taking vacations or getting children back in to school. Sellers are reluctant to lower their prices and many buyers are sitting on the sidelines. When Sellers finally decide they really want to sell, they drop their price and their property goes in to escrow.
