Market Update

The real estate news continues to be mixed and as you can see from our Market Watch data below, inventories climbed again this last week after a brief slowing in the previous two weeks.

On the bright side, sales of existing homes edged up in March following a strong rebound in February, according to the National Association of Realtors(R). On the other side of the coin, the number of properties in foreclosure nationally is up sharply from last year.

Wailea Beach Villas #508 was listed last week for $5.5 million and quickly went in to escrow. This 3 bedroom 3 bath luxury condo with 2893 sq. ft. of living area (largest floor plan in the Penthouse) has extraordinary views. Just below #508 is #408 which is the identical floor plan and has similar views. With an asking price of $5.3 Million, it is almost assuredly going to be sold very soon.
