Market Update

There is some new data showing that the market is slowing down on Maui. Home sales were down 33% in July vs. the previous year. This is entirely understandable when you consider the median price has risen 39.5% in the same period. Despite the slowdown, homes and condos that are well priced still find a steady supply of buyers.

As in previous issues of our Newsletter, we will continue to focus on properties that are unique and or represent better than average values. We have several new listings this week which fall in to that category.

Our featured property is a vacant lot in Pukalani in the new Kulamalu subdivision. This lot is just opposite from where Ken built his new home and offers spectacular unobstructable ocean and sunset views.

For those looking for an affordable condo for investment, consider the Harbor Lights 2 bedroom condo we just listed for $149,000. It is the lowest priced 2 bedroom fee simple condo on Maui.
