For those of you who are new, or for those who would like corroboration, here is a link to all the sales statistics for December 2003 and for the entire year for sales of homes, condos, and land throughout Maui County (Includes Lanai and Molokai). Here is a brief summary of those statistics. Homes - Sales up 42% / Median Price Increased 21% to $440,000Condos - Sales up 26% / Median Price Increased 18% to $242,000Land - Sales up 9% / Median Price Increased 8% to $330,000Although we don't have a crystal ball and thus cannot predict with certainty what will happen in 2004, we feel there is a good likelihood that the current trend towards higher prices will continue, but most likely at a somewhat diminished rate.
