| The real estate market on Maui continues to be quite strong, especially the low to middle end properties. This week, however, we did see several million dollar plus sales with the highest sale occurring for a home at Kapalua Plantation for a little over $8 million. As long as interest rates remain low, and the economy stays on track for a sustained recovery, the housing market should stay the course next year; although we doubt whether prices will appreciate as much as they have this year.
