| The Maui Real Estate market continues to be very strong in all sectors except for the high end, but even properties in the $1 million plus range are selling as evidenced by quite a few multi-million properties that went into escrow this last week including a Na Hale O Makena condo listed at $2.1 million and a Keahou 3+ acre lot in Makena listed for $2.9 million. There was also a $3.15 million record sale for a condo at Kaanapali Ali'i. There is still a lack of inventory of quality homes under $600,000. The same is true of residential condos under $200,000 and vacation rental condos under $300,000. With this in mind, keep your eyes open for new projects such as Hale Kanani in South Kihei which should be coming to market shortly. We feel that it will be a quick sell out, so let us know if you have an interest in this project.Given the current high prices for resales, one of the best value propositions in the current market environment is building.
